So the many lives your referring to are a kind of reincarnation in the your subconscious.....Do you feel they help you understand your present life, with an emotional connection or similarity to your existing choices and desires.?
For me personally, I haven’t experienced it being very helpful. Interesting to look at, but I haven’t been able to connect the dots in a way that made me feel like its a necessity for soul growth. Some people don’t know why they’ve always been afraid to swim or have other phobias that have been very much helped by past life therapy. If I do it again, I probably will have stronger intention than my curiosity.
Sounds possible if you believe Jung's Idea of the collective unconscious ....or maybe just another door in the imagination we may pass up if the sign reads "not normal" or "three's a crowd"
I did a past life therapy session too after reading this book! She hypnotized me and asked me what I was doing and I was a Polynesian woman picking bark off a tree while everyone else was busy doing important things. "I think I'm retarded," is what I arrived at. I gave that life a funeral. Anyway, here I am now, not retarded, in California, working through it.
